Process Documentation _ February 2019

I started on the subway by seeing this poster with a funny caption but bad design. Heres the link to my instagram post about it https://www.instagram.com/p/Btyf_1wnLyS/

It is kind of cheesy. The colors are not good together. It does not catch the eye. It is hard to find out more about it.

For my redesign:

I chose to use the NYC subway as a way to communicate. The subway caters to many demographics, especially qualifying canidates. I decided to do a poster and an overhead poster. Then I decided to use a bus stop/ linknyc ad. The main idea for this was to make the QR code bigger once above ground so that someone can easily get more information.

These are in print.

The first one is what I based my other designs on. This would be in the subway station, bus stop, or anywhere print can go.

The second one, I made specifically for the subway station. I find that the overhead ads catch more eyes because people are less likely to block them.

The last one is more tech orientated. I liked the idea of doing a QR code but it would be hard to do that underground, so this one is specifically designed for above ground.
