Bridge 2 Reflection _ February 2019

  1. I took the image. I was on the subway and was very aware of the advertisements around me. I saw it and thought it was clever but also thought that it needed some work. I was drawn towards ads that were more sarcastic in tone, especially towards new yorkers.
  2. I wanted to make the free part of the ad the biggest because people love to see that word and it was very hard to find on the original ad. I also wanted to take out the man because he made the ad feel less relatable to me. I also wanted to make it more simple because I saw a lot of ads that were simple and modern and thought that those caught my eye more.
  3. My target audeince was basically anyone who makes less than a certain amount per year. Since the demographic was so big I decided that just using the word free was the best way to do it. It is staright to the point and easy to find more information about.
  4. I think that I incorporated my demographic pretty well. The QR code is probably catered more towards the younger and tech savvy people. In conclusion this ad is very inclusive to anyone who qualifies.
  5. I felt like although the design is very simple and not necessarily fun to look at, it gets the point across and was well thought out as to who would be looking at it, for how long and how to catch the attention of someone.
  6. I liked being able to explain the work first. It felt like I was adressing my goals and then people could analyse it through there.
  7. I don’t know that I would change anything. Maybe come up with more slogans and mediums, but other than that I feel like this is a a solid design.
