Museum of moving

The wizard of oz is my favorite movie of all time, full of fantasy n wonder. Yet when I’ve seen The Wiz it was a perfect blend of reality, the wizard of oz focuses on the fantasy aspect with a whole different world wile the wiz through the whole movie is based on reality that’s ment for an older audience. The wiz was film in 1978 in New York locationslike Coney Island,The World Trade Center, and Hoyt-Schermerhorn subway station. Production designer/ costume designer Tony Walton created the munchkins mailing fantasy set with the numbers 1,2,3,&4. I really enjoyed the film because it’s ment for older audiences and the fact that it has reality mixed along with it, this is a great film to show teens and young adults.

Gregory Barsamian born in 1953 he’s a Brooklyn based artist artist. The Feral Fount is a representation of a dream, which he had drops fall from the kitchen faucet transforming into a bomb and then a plain seeping into a hand that transform in a letter. This is honestly such an inspiring relation, i’m inspired to do a similar concept with and idea with this model of with African American culture. This spectacle flashes between darkness and light allowing a “moving image”.
