-Brompton Folding Bicycle designed in 2016 by Andrew Ritchie. The bike is made out of steel, titanium, and rubber.
-The purpose of this design is to make bicycles smaller for storage and to “address urban transportation and environmental issues.”
-Ritchie was working as a gardener in the 1970’s. He collected money over the years and finally began manufacturing the bicycle design.
-I was drawn to this bicycle because I appreciate designs that have a purpose. There are millions of things in the world that “look nice”, but this bicycle looks nice and has a purpose. It is designed to save space and make the lives of the riders easier.
