Meet Me

I can honestly say that I have never taken on a project as technical as this one. At the beginning of the semester when I first came up with my idea I really had no faith that I was going to be able to have a concrete presentation at the end. I had to overcome lots of obstacles and setbacks along the way. This project has taught me that it is ok to not know how to accomplish a goal because this is always more than one solution to a challenge. The turning point of my project was taking to ben and learning that there was so much technology available to me that I could use to make my app a reality. Of course, I did not know how to use this technology yet and that was something I had to learn along the way, I am still learning. It was difficult for me to pursue a project that I didn’t feel I could make perfect, because of this I was really hard on myself through the whole prosses and was challenging myself to create more until the literal last minute. Looking back I am really proud of myself because I was able to convert my nervous energy into the product instead of being a roadblock. What you saw of my project today is just the first step, I will continue to build this app, I have received so much positive feedback about my project today and through this prosses that I want to make it a reality. Things I know need work are:

  • I would like to convert the buttons with words to all symbols
  • I need to create terms and conditions/ privacy policy
  • Definitely make a more professional promotion video that could be used on Instagram
  • I would also like to do a lot more market research to create a more compelling logo if necessary
  • Then I need to get it developed

Other things I would have done better format my research into an infographic, for some reason when creating my see I did not really consider formatting it this way. I think this is because I have never created an infographic for my personal work but after receiving feedback I feel this really could have upped to curb appeal of my work and made the information easier to digest.

The other feedback I received is that I should have gotten a speaker…next time:). My positive feedback was that my app was easy to use and people were really attracted to the idea of the pixilated photo because it was unlike any other social media app. I also got a lot of attention from my promo video people really likes the intensity of it and found it to be comical and enticing. Overall I am happy with this product and think this is helpful feedback to move forward with.
