These are my 50 elements that I collected for my look book. My interviewee, Ryan, gave me all the swatches she had for my work. Vivid, colorful fabrics gave me lots of great ideas to generate my work.
These are the images that I documented during my Parsons archive visit. The black and white photo with topless female model overwhelmed me. I loved its decadent mood which later inspired my mood board. COMME des GARÇONS and Issey Miyake’s coutures gave me ideas how to “play” with my swatches.

I decided to use various colors for my look book. I used blue, yellow, and black which represent Mormonism. I used two colors on each page to work as a color palette. I collaged my interviewee’s images on each page, then decorated with swatches. I punched the hole on the middle part of all the pages, then put red string in it. I wanted my work to be unique and quirky after binding it.
