Project Overview
The transformation of light can create a narrative of its own, it brings us new opportunities, and creates moments between us as individuals and the city that we live in. Throughout this project I focused on the city scape of Manhattan by breaking it into 4 times – Morning, Afternoon, Sunset, & Evening.
My narrative experiments with still frames of the city in conjunction with a narrative focused on experimenting with language. Using both English and Spanish, my narrator communicated his thoughts about Manhattan’s influence of his daily life.
This project was a process and the evolution. Originally it solely included city sounds, and then grew to combining them with multiple narrators. The final video included the combination of city sounds alongside one narrator after receiving feedback in class.
