Weakest Link
I think that the user testing participants need a bit of coaching while working on these pieces. As a designer I need to have an opinion on what the beginning middle and end of the process should look like. Acting as a coach while facilitating this process
The materiality is also a challenge, providing people time to be set up for success or to string the bracelet along and immediately get going provided valuable feedback
Most Successful
With Participants that were eager to get started they immediately began stringing along the beads, there was discussion that emerged that lead people to discovery of self and memories of other. I’ve so far found this process to be more popular with female testers versus men,, and I have a hypothesis that it will resonate more deeply with non designers.
