In Thesis 2 I feel that I am making the most progress with:
- I think I’m making the most progress in developing my idea and iterating it. I’ve run through several prototypes now in the semester which has given me an opportunity to develop the idea further
I feel that need more assistance with:
- I think likely more critiques with smaller groups of people, the opportunity to present in front of the entire class is helpful but it’s not as quick and requires a lot of time to get to participate in.
- As I develop this project it would be nicer to get feedback more specifically from people without the intimidation factor of the entire class
Write a short paragraph: in the first five weeks of Thesis 2 I discovered/learned:
- In the first five weeks of Thesis 2 I learned that I needed to pivot my idea to focus on materials specific to charm bracelets and associate the psychological connections with jewelry. This is what actually resonated with my audience and it was nice to improve my thesis to relate to the prototypes that were testing most successfully
Comments on the studio? What is working or not working for you?
- I think we need more time to work in class especially after we get feedback, the opportunity to use class time to work and to discuss things 1:1 with you guys is helpful for a lot of us because it serves as a gut check
