GIF project (time)

So my first gif did not work out, for some reasons it did not want to save. However, these are the steps oh how to make a gif.

  1. First you convert your video into layers and then you create a group starting form layer 2 and onwards.

2. Then you select that part that you want to move

3.  Then you press “layer mask” and at “Unity” menu you press and eye icon

4.

Out of two themes I have chosen the one related to fear/accident. The concept for mine was me falling of the skateboard while people walk past by ignoring my pain. My first try was unsuccessful because when it came to editing, people were being me, so when I cut myself out, i cut some of the legs out behind me. It looked wrong.

After realising it looked weird, I went back outside to film. This time I decided to be on the street corner, so the background (building) was still. The movement that I wanted to capture were the cars that were passing by.

When I was filming it, I tried to keep my body still in the position that made it seem like i was falling.

THINGS I WOULD HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY:

Tripod!!

The video looks a little shaky, other than that I ma really proud the way it turned out.
