My project for Time: Composition was to take 3 walks with very different paths. one path is straight, the other is a diagonal on the grid of Manhattan and the other is in the maze of streets that make up west village. I was told to estimate the time of each walk and take pictures as I venture the streets
Walk 1:
My first walk was the longest at about 14 minutes. My perception may have been longer because it was very cold. I was very familiar with the area I was going to so I took pictures of places that I often visit
Walk 2:
my second walk took a while as it was the longest and most winding walk. I had never been to the west village and I noticed a lot of eateries and restaurants that I actually stopped in.
Walk 3:
my third walk felt rather quick. I estimate it lasted around 12 minutes bu may have been longer. time felt like it was passing quick since I had already been walking for so long
