The New York City subway station can be upgraded in various ways by looking at different subway systems around the world: Japan, Taiwan, and London. Why does New York City’s subway system need an upgrade? First, let’s look at the appearance of New York City’s subway station. We take stairs down to the station, and normally we smell something foul like piss as we walk down the stairs. The walk down is quite displeasing to the eye because of how dirty the stairs are, stained and black. Entering the station, we experience heat waves and more foul smell which is an nasty combo. We enter the station by swiping a subway card that is just a piece of paper that you would wanna trash after you use it.
