Exhibition Space Design

This Exhibition place I created is on the topic of dreams. I put images of surreal photographs and paintings in a very uncomfortable places. Its all scattered on pillars and walls because I wanted to create this uncomfortable edgy feeling we feel after we wake up from dreams. The floor is made of shiny resin with an image of galaxy so that the people feel like they are going to be sucked down which also creates discomforting feelings. The black door is present in the exhibition as a connection to the next exhibition place and it creates a mysterious vibe so that audiences are curious to move further on. By saying ‘Enter your dream world’, it connects with the people and makes them feel sympathetic. The pillars are all in different sizes to bring up the uniqueness of individual’s imaginations in dreams.

When walking in the room, the people will see the door to the next exhibition in the center making the room feel like an hallway to their deeper unconsciousness. The floor and the ceiling are covered with small and big clouds to lift up the people’s mood and to add mysterious mood to the whole exhibition. In the colored version of this exhibition place, the colors are bright and vibrant to add discomfort to the eyes so that people really feel the mood of this entire exhibition.

Bridge 2 studio piece

This piece is a reflection of my experience at the Brooklyn Bridge.

I portrayed myself as the human figure in the middle and I am trapped in my room looking at the night landscape.

I did this in order to show that I am not an outgoing person who likes going outside. BUt looking at the night sky which is so beautiful makes me want to cry.

I enjoyed doing this piece because this is particular color scheme that I like and also I really like the emotion portrayed through this painting.
