Assignment: To explore how meaning can be made differently via single elements than it would be through a sequence of elements leading to an exploration of linear models of time via genres of performance, animation, video, sound, among others.
Handmade Collage
This was a starting point of the project. The idea of time in the project was essential. We had to think of what can represent past, present and future in the same frame, and the answer came up quite fast – the moment. The moment is the period where all of the states meets. So I decided to revolve the project around the moments of our life. Where can we feel the moment? Where everything stops and for a second you can feel yourself a part of nature? The answer is easy – in the water. Water was always magical and mysterious for me. In this collage, I combined my personal work from the past and the photo by Scott Rhea which inspired me for creating those works.

For the digital collages I made in a sequence using my past photoshoots. I edited them together in Photoshop.
Final Piece
This project is about moments in our life. We can experience long moments for example when we are waiting for something important to happen – at those moments time seems to freeze. Sometimes we can experience short moments when the time flys too fast, and they make you realize that life is actually very short. In this project, I wanted to show that no matter which moments you are experiencing all of them have an impact on your future, all of them have consequences, and all of the are equally important.
