This project is about us feeling connected and disconnected to the world. This topic is very personal, and it took me some time to have an idea for it. When I finally had a solid idea in my head, I realized that just a small piece for only a part of my body would not be enough. I decided to create a whole outfit. The green dress which is quite revealing. I wanted to show that I am very open-minded and friendly person, though the umbrella shape at the back of the dress demonstrates that it is hard for me now to be close to people. The umbrella is my defense which I gained due to the past experiences. It is dark, and it has pointed shapes on the edges which represent that it is getting hard for me to let people in. When the umbrella is open, I am disconnected to the world, and when it is closed, I am connected.
