For my project I wanted to center around the visual, in specific, color differences from Mexico City and New York City. I chose to include me when I was smaller dressed in pink to show the contrast and the comparison and how in Mexico I blended in with my enviorment and how in New York it stands out. The color pink was significant in my childhood and I wanted to emphasize how prevalent the color was in my culture. My culture to me, makes me stand out in a city with so much diversity. I am proud of all of it and I want to represent my culture in the best way possible. New York is full of new adventures where my sense of culture will continue to evolve.
