Having done a 17 second still photo film in Studio last semester I was familiar with Premier however wasn’t a fan of the project. I learned how to do more effects and manipulate my images better this time around though. I do wish I had better audio but considering my circumstance that weekend I won’t complain much. I was weary of being too literal with the theme and also about using vacation pictures but I did really enjoy making a story out of the photos I had. I had written the story first then matched pictures with some of the speech. I also wish I could’ve coordinated the speech and pictures a little better but wasn’t sure how to manage that without having the image simply flash for the second that I mentioned it. I feel like with practice I’ll enjoy the project idea more but also master the process. I did learn more than last time because practice makes perfect but I don’t see myself working with still photos in film very often.
