Beary
I’ve had this bear, not my entire life, but for such a long portion that he’s seen it all. Whenever I was weak or vulnerable, Beary was there to see it all.
Mom
My mom is one of the most important people in my life. She’s my role model, having a heart condition, getting a brain tumor removed, having back surgery, knee surgery and neck surgery while raising seven children who depend on is admirable. Though surviving tough times my mother remains one of the kindest, softest souls you’ll ever meet.
Seasons
Growing up in Durham North Carolina in the early 2000’s was filled with hot summers hanging out downtown or at the Eno river, winters wondering if school would be canceled because there was a slight chance of snow, and questionable springs and falls where the weather wasn’t sure what it wanted to be. This is one of my favorite things about North Carolina, it’s never truly predictable.
