around five lions present, located in Africa, 1 male lion standing and looking at the viewer,4 females(3 laying down and one standing), blend in with the tall grass, male lion is standing near a large tree, in the background there are tons of trees, in the back left there is a heard of some type of animal, the sky is overcast and cloudy, In captivity, lions have lived up to 25 years, prides consist of one or more males, several females, and cubs

  1. How did these animals get in this exhibit? killed?
  2. why do lions not survive as long in the wild as they do in captivity?
  3. females do most of the actual hunting-what is the role of the males?
  4. why are the cubs are born spotted at birth?
