Reflection:

Working in a group is always a little tough on me because I feel as though a lot of weight falls on my back and I end up carrying people to their grades. We worked well in dividing the tasks amongst ourselves, but it seemed to fail at having each person actually complete those tasks in a timely manner. It was difficult for us to meet up at certain times due to conflicting schedules. Next time I think we would find a way to better manage our time and make sure people are working on what they were assigned so there are no last minute freak outs. I think from working in a group I learned that although it is nice to have help from time to time, I would rather not play a key factor in someone else’s grades and vice versa. The concept of the game made the group a little dysfunctional at times because some people were confused about the rules that we had determined and other parts that seemed lost in translation. If I were to revise the game I’d completely change the chance cards so they’re easier to understand, I’d redo the color combinations used in the game throughout, and I’d make the collection cards all the same size and format.
