The Poem
This poem heavily revolved around my difficulties in New York. With multiple distractions in New York City, I am unable to focus on my academic career. There is so much to do and so much to explore to the point where my objective becomes shrouded with foods, busy streets and busy people. Not only was I distracted, but I was also angry at my choice for picking New York as my destination. There is a sense of loneliness that I cannot describe, it is a vast city with so much to do yet it is a city where you feel too pressurized to move. The expenses are also another issue, along with socializing in the city.
