I am inspired by everything around me, from my friends to my family to simply the environments I am apart of. Through my photography I attempt to use the locations I am given as a way to see how my subjects interact with the world around them and to ultimately show who they want the world to see them as. I love showing how strong, independent and fierce young women can be through my photos. From the way I pose my models, to the outfits I shoot them in- I believe every step is extremely vital. For these reasons, I shoot in strictly color because I believe that in color we see things for what they truly are, whereas in black and white we sometimes get lost. When it comes to my photography I find myself inspired by photographers such as Norman Parkinson, Erwin Blumenfeld, Patrick Demarchelier, and Steven Meisel; I also find myself inspired by Instagram photographers such as Jessica Kobeissi and Derrick Freske. I am inspired by each of these photographers because they present a new way to look at models and the world of fashion photography in a new and exciting way that I hope to do one day as well.
