With this short film, I want to show the world the true impact the Holocaust had on the few people who survived it. Many films about the Holocaust don’t discuss the impact this event had on the survivor’s lives following the war. To accurately portray this, the story will be about an old man who suffers from PTSD. Through his PTSD-induced flashbacks, the audience gets to understand who this man is and the horrible things he had to experience at such a young age. The short film itself will be dark in tone and will show a realistic impact of humanity’s darkest time.
