Studio: Final Project, “Cave”

The intended meaning of my final piece is to re create my monster piece we made earlier in the semester, but in this case, I changed some details and added some to emphasize the meaning of being isolated and held captive by your own head.

i Choose the particular materials because I meant to recreate my other piece, but I added some more like the yarn, duck tape, and plaster.

This piece represents my voice through thye colors and the ominous feeling the oiece evokes, and the content in the “cave” contains some figures that are very much my style and approach to making a piece as well.

While making this piece I encounter many obstacles like the lack of space I have in my dorm, but I still manage  to do the whole piece in there. It was also painful, making the plaster hand came with some pain, as I was almost ripping the hair on my hands and fore arm. On top of that, painting such huge piece was very uncomfortable in a tight place, since in dripped some paint on the floor matt
