Studio: Fear Project, Take 2

I redid the Fear project. I hadn’t any idea how to execute the idea the first time so it was terrible, but this time I feel I was much more effective. I designed a hand restraint to both symbolize the lack of control that served as the driving force of all my partner’s various fears, as well as elicit that same feeling of fear due to a lack of control in those who interact with this piece and put it on. It’s a restraint that is a sort of modified glove made to fit both hands at once and extend up the forearms, where a strap of velcro would then be wrapped around both arms and pulled tight. A divider exists in the center of the interior of the restraint to prevent the arms from touching, and there are dividers between each finger as well to prevent bodily contact of any kind.
