Reflection:
This avatar creation project was interesting in the way the class was able to create versions of themselves using different mechanisms such as color, clothing, and accessories. The 10 avatars per medium became exhaustive after sometime and its evident through everyones work how desperate they became to create another version of themselves that was unique in comparison to the rest of their avatars preceding. During the critique, my avatars translated very well, specifically the Super Hero creation ones. I used key mediums to describe my many emotions and versions such as clothing (or lack of), body size, animal companions, mouth, eyes, and color. As for my drawings, the concept in those were lost for the most part. So, in my collage, I combined my drawings into one holistic drawing showing my love for space, curly hair, and wandering memory. I also included my superhero avatars, this time removing the key colors that gave clue to their meaning. Instead, I included the animalistic ones as a way of conveying their intention.
