Peer Curation:
We each picked 10 of each other’s drawings and curated them at places we thought were suitable. I placed her drawings next to some wallflowers and plants. As the theme of most of her drawings were nature she has experienced when she lived on an island in Korea. I also picked some line drawings of faces and drawings from her memories to give a nice contrast between abstracts and specifics. Since our character is an artist who creates from nature, memories, and identity. I focused on more of the internal emotions as well as nature while selecting drawings from my partner.
It is about how our created character thinks and how her emotions change through time. As she observes different environments in places she’s lived in a been to, everything builds up to her character, and to her transformation as an artist. Therefore, I have selected these 10 drawings to also reflect on that aspect.
