This project started with a couple of hand drawings of my hands holding some objects. I decided to use rings as I have a hobby of collecting rings. As I was younger, I made rings at my grandma’s workshop, therefore I thought rings are perfect for being the objects I use in this wire hand. Below are the hand drawings:
Then I made the wire hand with the twisted wires I used for the previous project, as it’s the perfect thickness and has the perfect durability. I made the fingers first instead of starting from the wrist, and joined the fingers with the palm. Then connected the palm with the wrist.
Then I put on the rings to make sure that the hand is stable and will not tumble back or forth:
