Due to the majority of the umbrella’s material being fabric, our group decided it would be most effective to reconstruct the umbrella into a dress. Our dress is a basic slip body con dress, but with the addition of the rest of the mechanics from the umbrella. The mechanics will make the dress more of an avant-garde, sculptural dress including moveable and functional features.
