The Actual Home
Humans always take tomorrow for granted. At least, I do. We never think about tomorrow.
We are so focused on what we want at that moment that we start crying if we don’t get it, like young spoiled kids. Once there is something new and glamorous, we decide that we want that. And we cry until we have it in our hands. Unfortunately, the tears increase when we stop crying and get the thing we want. We start making everyone cry except the ones that are close to us. We don’t realize the catastrophe we create around us because we are so focused on our selves.
First, you look at what will make you the richest. You do the research that is based on only the money you’ll earn. Once you have your goal set, you use your connections and money to reach your prize. However, things do not always go the way you wanted so as soon as you realize that you start using your power. You cry as loud as you can so people decide to give you want, just so they do not have to hear you cry anymore. Then finally, you get what you want. And everything is over. After that point, the only thing that is important is the money. So you can get more houses, private jets, boats, car and everything you ever wished for. Because that is what is important. It is not important if you make someone lose their only house, because you will have a bigger one. Because you will have more than you will ever need in your life. But what if the world decides that you don’t need that house anymore as you decided for all of those families.
We damaged our home so much, I have no idea how we can make it up. There are thousands of people who are working for this, however, it is not possible to save the world with only these people. All of us have to do something. We have to stop making sacrifices for only money. The petroleum will not give you an actual home if we lose the earth. It will only make you buy lands on ‘earth’. That you can not move to another planet. So we better start appreciating the only actual home we have. This will not go on like this for a thousand more years. Climate change is real, and it is happening right now…
