Climate change: CO2 emissions rising for the first time in four years

This was the headline that caught my attention like the last article. They are very similar articles however every new text I read, I learn more about climate change. With this, I realized that there are many new things happening every day and it is very hard to keep up with the speed of climate change.
In the continuing parts of the article, the emissions gap is also mentioned. In the graphic, the Global greenhouse gas emissions and the emissions gap in 2030 are presented. We can see the dramatic increase that is for-seen for 2030.
Even though global emissions of CO2 was stable between the years 2014 and 2016, it raised by 1.2% in 2017. This increase may look like it is something minor however when you compare it to the last 4 years, it is possible to see that a number that was stable and has to decrease started increasing. Which means that we are not doing enough to keep it stable. But we believe that it will get better… How can it get any better if we continue like this?
