The visit was quite informative. It was nice to know a space like that exists and is open and willing to accommodate people the way it does. It was cool to see the library and get to know how it came into being. Its very cool how they are exploring a new way of book keeping and categorizing it. I kept imagining myself working there in the future.

I liked hearing about the incarcerated podcast. It was interesting to know how it came into being and how it gained traction. I liked hearing from that guy because he clearly knew a lot about the topic and was passionate to the cause.

The recording room was really cool to see as well. They have really good equipment. I wonder how they fund all the equipment they have if they work with so many freelance workers.

The woman who is working on the film about miniaturists intrigued me too. Her line of work is very interesting and her topic was very random but interesting too. I wish she talked a little more on how she creates humor in her films because I expected thats what her presentation was supposed to be about (by the way she was introduced).

I liked the TED talk, and it made me curious about our next assignment. A lot of the issues touched on in the talk are things I have thought about a lot before.

I have worked with audio and different types of mics a lot last year in my Time class so I know a bit of the basics and I’m excited to work with that again.
