I thought that the IFP was an interesting space to be a guest in. It seems important to know that there are spaces with resources that we can use after we get out of school. Whether that be the obvious equipment or just the simple human interaction that happens in a collaborative space. I thought that it was interesting to hear from people that were doing work there, although I think that it would have been interesting to hear the two presenters talk to each other about how they work together to help with each others projects. I feel like it would have been interesting to see some visual artists that work in the space, or hear more about how the artists who work in that space branch out into the real world and share their work. It would have been interesting to see a list (even if not everyone could come and speak) of people working on projects in that space! It seems like even a good opportunity for them to get word out about their projects to have student groups like this come in and present for them. For example I went home and listened to Decarcerated! Working in a space like that and being exposed to groups of students coming through could help make connections if for example a student was really intrigued by a presentation and decided they wanted to learn more and get involved in the program in whatever way they may be needed.
