Grand Central Observations

After learning about the idea of simultaneous perception, or realizing that it had a name, I was excited to experience it in the way the essay described. I took the R train to Grand Central station, coming off of the train I didn’t realize that I was in Grand Central Terminal, I thought that I would have to walk into the building. I moved with the stream of people trying to quickly and effectively get out of the building. When it opened up into the main terminal my breath was taken away. I had to move to the side so that I would stop blocking the stream of people. I was very aware of everything that was happening around me. The people moving from my peripheral vision into my direct line of sight.
