Assignment #1- Observation
In this assignment we were asked to observe our surroundings and take pictures of images (faces, symbols, letters etc.) that had been created by something else. For most of my photos I focused on images that had been created by wear over time. Most of the streets and walls in New York City are quite dirty so it was fun to walk around and try to find images within the stains, gum and cracked paint I viewed. I even found that as I walked around NYC I started to see images in things that I wouldn’t have previously noticed (although some of the images I viewed may have been a bit of a stretch).
