It’s hard to say exactly how many puffs the HQD Bar disposable device gives off because of the lack of data provided. However, it is possible that it has a legit 16 mL of e-juice in its little tank. So, it would be safe to assume that whatever number you count for consumption, it’s fairly high.

Appearance and size

The HQD Bar 6000 is a compact and charming little device. Its body is flattened and squared, giving it an interesting look with contrasting textures of glossy parts at the top (mouthpiece) and bottom (recharge section). It’s made of PCTG plastic with colorways that are pleasing to the eye and offer suggestions for flavors. I’m not a fan of the high-key colors for vapes, but they are tastefully executed.

Regardless of the features, power and size are just two of the many things that make these devices so refreshingly different. They stand at 19mm x 42mm x 82mm while competing for “mega” disposables are much bigger, almost too big to hold. Although their functional capacity is smaller than competitors, they still offer a lot of kick.

Getting started

The HQD Bar is not complicated. All you need to do is remove the product from its packaging and puff on it. There are no internal airflow settings or any other features. You simply wait for a current to build up that vaporizes when you release the device and then triggers a gentle crackling noise during each hit. The battery will run out after 10 hits and then needs to be recharged via the Type-C charge port at the bottom of the device.

How does it hit?

The HQD Bar has a quality MTL draw. It hits quietly with only a slight crackle and hisses from the airflow.

The throat hit is highly dependent on the nicotine level you choose, increasing with increased nicotine strength. Regardless, across all of our flavors, the overall impact of vaping is consistent. The dual coil in the HQD Bar performs at a high level for a disposable. And the wicking keeps up with chain vaping, not once giving me a bad hit. Even when the juice starts to deplete, the taste lessens enough to tell you it’s almost out, instead of giving you a surprise fried hit.

Are the flavors any good?

Yes, the flavors are quite good. Easily have some of the best flavors in a disposable.

From fruity flavors such as Blue Raspberry, Grapey, and Sky Mint to fruity flavors like Lush Ice and Kiwi Strawberry, there are many options of juice to choose from. You can also choose from single-note flavors like tobacco or Mango Watermelon that offer a straight-up cool sensation every time you vape.

What are the best HQD Bar flavors?

While this is highly subjective, I think the best HQD Bar flavors are their fruit flavor, especially their Blueberry raspberry flavors. Their Grapey and Mango Watermelon flavors are top-notch. Juicy, bright, and flavorful. In general, there’s a lot of character to these flavors. Here are my top 5 out of flavors that I’ve tried.

Blueberry Raspberry: This is a great flavor for you. HQD Bar Blueberry Raspberry adds a layer of fresh ice to this to balance out the classic berry flavors in the long-lasting HQD Bar device.

Grapey: A sweet and juicy grape with a velvety smoothness of cream. Light cooling.

Kiwi Strawberry: Sinfully good. Whether it’s the perfectly balanced blend of fruity flavors or the refreshingly-cool sensation, this drink will leave you wondering how we got such a good scent and flavor without using artificial ingredients.

Mango Watermelon: Sweet and tart with minimal cooling, this is a very well-balanced fruit juice. It’s hard to pick out the individual fruits, but it’s fun trying.

Mixberries: It is jam-packed with real, ripe, and fresh blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries flavours.

How long do they last?

6000 puffs? I don’t know how many there. But the flavor has been strong and lasting from start to finish.

If you need an impressive battery this might be a good one for you. With the 550 mAh battery, it can more than carry your moderate consumption for hours. But heavy users will likely find they get short of a full day’s worth with just one charge.

The Type-C recharge takes about an hour—which is standard with disposables, though still a long charge. And of note, there’s no pass-thru charging with these. That part was a bit of a bummer for me.

Verdict

The one downside of the HQD Bar is no pass-thru charging. Other than that, I love this product! It’s compact and flavorful, portable, rechargeable, and has a long list of flavor options.

This is one of the easiest recommendations I’ve made in a while. If you’re in the market for a disposable, I’m confident that you will find an HQD Bar 6000 that you’ll enjoy. As for which flavor to pick, that’s not so easy to say when there are 20 to choose from.
