For 3D Modeling week I was interested in continuing looking at the body but in a more abstract way following a dream I had of a cyclops-like creature. It feels part alien and part mythical creature.
What I found most interesting was playing with all the tools especially the crease, drag, smooth, and inflate tools. I had a few issues with the eye in particular due to the depth and shape of the eye socket and eyeball.
I would like to do two more things with this project: the first is to play with the character of the sculpture by giving it more animate expressions as well as to paint the sculpture with more detail. The second thing I would like to do with this project is to try and 3D print it at the university’s lab.
