Tiga’s Final Project – Translation

If you see a cup, it might not be a cup. The process of sense to cognition translated it to a “cup”. The result of everything is to become part of your your cognition and feeling, and for a human, the only thing real is the cognition and feeling, everything else is not real. The process of sense to cognition and feelings is a process of translation, translation is never accurate (actually there’s no standard of ‘right’ or ‘wrong’, it just can never be correct).

If everything apart from human’s cognition and feeling is not real, and the process of sense to cognition and feelings is not natural, is there a way to cut the path from sense to cognition and try to create cognition and feelings out of thin air? People can choose to believe or not believe what they saw and heard, they can believe or not believe anything they want. To live in a world that has fixed rules of translation is not natural.

I’m not trying to create an experience that there’s no translation exists, I’m just trying to convey this idea through my work.
