Quick Biography

My name is Jake Schroeder. I am from a suburb right outside the city of Chicago but I tell people I am from the city to remain “cool.” I applied to The New School to study Software design and development in the Design and Technology program at Parsons. Throughout high school I took every single computer programming course offered and fell in love with the idea of creating software that was both beautiful looking and intuitively operated. My technical skills heavily outweigh my creative capabilities and I hope to use the next 4 years of schooling to better my design skills and become a well rounded, multi faceted front-end developer. I have many interests and love working on projects. I am rarely a bored person, keeping myself busy with design and development.
