In this project I am making a wide-leg-trouser. Using the sewing skills and process I learned from the class, I successfully made the pants. I chose to use cotton suit fabrics, which are based on color gray. I used two fabrics and one lining fabric to finish this trouser. The main fabric has quadrille pattern. I used it to make the main pants, waist belt and the belt loop. For the second fabric, it’s a brighter grey with white straight lines, I use it to make the pocket self and decorated the pocket on hip. The reason why I use these two fabrics is I want to make a low-key but elegant pant for office lady. The gray tone gives the feeling of serious, so that show the clam personality of office lady. But I don’t want make it too heavy. So that I made a wide-leg design to create feminine and fashion feelings to my pant.
As an office ladies should wear in comfortable cloth, as their work environment is long-time sitting and long-time evection, I made the pants looser than it should be, make sure people who wearing it has a good moving space and breathability for their skin.
