This week’s critique was a very positive experience as I got both positive feedback and helpful insights at the same time. Coming into the critique session, I was nervous as it was the first time I had attempted in creating a ‘self’ portrait work. I was relieved to hear that my characters have been evolving in a positive manner, which was my main concern. From the ‘what-if’s’, I think that the idea of adding a logo, specifically my family emblem to the hoodie or clothes my characters are wearing. I am now looking into developing my background and details as I think that I am at a good place in terms of my character development. My next step would be to complete constructing the world I am trying to express within the next couple of weeks, and to finalize my investigation.
