Integrative Seminar Reflection

This class was a really strong experience on my side. I can say that everything we learned and did, was instructive. First of all, I learned how to write and express my thoughts in a better way, and a totally clearer way. The talking notes we worked on through all the semester, gave me the possibility to enlarge my strengths in understanding texts and analyzing them, but also take out of it the most important details.

I really loved the fact that the Integrative Studio 1 class and the Integrative Seminar 1 class were connected throughout all the semester. In the seminar class, I think it was made to make our thoughts very clear and then to make and build the project in the studio class. I would say that my most successful Bridge project was the last one. Writing the fairy Tail in Seminar, helped me figure out a nice way to present my garment.

I also think that the way we were assigned to do our writing assignments was very successful. We always had to do a first draft, and then we were getting feedback on it, and a week after we were giving in our last draft. I think it’s really important to do that, because I know that doing the work twice helps me do a greater job and explain myself better.

I found an aphorism when I was writing my Fairy Tail, but I couldn’t use it for that project because it wasn’t related but here, it fits perfectly. “April showers bring May Flowers.”

For me this means that, it is with mistakes that we learn and get better in something. The hard work I kept up on all semester finished by giving me good thoughts of the course and a very positive esteem.

I want to thank you Rebecca for this amazing course, and for teaching me things that I will always need.
