My bridge project is inspired by the smell of two cities: Taipei and New York. Taipei is my first home where I lived for twelve years. Even though I’ve spent most of my childhood there, unfortunately, I have very little memory of what the city is like. After moving to New York, many of the smells here trigger the memory of my first home.
In this story board, I am comparing the smells of two cities. First, the story begins with the smells of Taipei then later change to the smells of New York that remind me of Taipei. All the pictures are going to be hand- drawn, rendered and later imported into photoshop to merge with photos.
The duration of each picture is roughly five seconds, and voice over would be added to the final short film.
