Our challenge was to create a self-portrait using materials, mainly food that can be found in convenient stores. With only a five-dollars budget, we were asked to consider the smell, taste and texture of the food to portray our own personality. I went for a trail mix that contains pretzels, mini chocolate-chip cookies, M&M and peanuts because I am both sweet and salty. Once you start tasting, you will not be able to stop until the whole bag is emptied. As for the outer structure and hair, I deconstructed a shower ball. The eyes and blushes are made of cotton balls, and I embellished the white cotton balls with sharpie.
