This project is mainly about creating an atmosphere and image through sounds effects and music and not so much about what the person is telling in their native language. However, the narrations added more insight to the story and elevated the sensation and imagery to another level.
As a team with diverse backgrounds, we decided to use our second language as an advantage and bring in a different sensations. We experimented with telling our stories using mostly music and sound effects. The stories related to colour “red” was recorded in our native tongue and by incorporating dramatic back ground music, voices and sound effects, we wished to deliver the same message through sounds.
