This project prompt was to find a place in the city that you strongly connect with, and do a deep historical research of it. Using this research we were to write a short research paper, and create a collage revealing the history of the place and the way that it exists now. This is a digital collage with a few hand drawn elements, showing the history of the skatepark (blue) and the newer aspects (red).
I chose LES Coleman Skatepark, because it is a happy place for me, I can go there and feel a great sense of community, I am welcomed by all of the skaters I have met and I can count on them to push me to progress my skating.
