For my second dye project, I decided to use beets as my fruit base instead of avocado because I knew it would produce an actual color. I first folded tiny strips of the fabric over and over until they were all in one strip. Then I kept this shape by attached rubber bands around the strip every 1 inch apart. The final result looks like a faded piece of fabric, with pinks and browns coming through and playing together.
