Book Project
Gather all source material: Previous project files, text passages, and photographs.
Create an 8-16 page booklet (using Indesign) that documents the semester’s projects.
It will be a portfolio style catalog of the highlights of all the most critical work created in the class.
Begin by making a list of what to include in this multi-faceted capstone project.
Booklets will be bound using saddle stitch in the Design Lab.
Review grid as a means of organizing and structuring visual information,
type history, a type tool, Examine letterforms as visual forms as well as components of verbal language
Begin to layout books.
Continue with book design, review printing,
OR
Create an accordion book, it is a folded structure; the book block is made by
simply folding a sheet of paper back and forth in page-width increments.
