Museum Mini-task

I chose these two photos as images that somehow hold a thread connected between them, obviously because of the common motif that this photography captures. I personally think that Kubrick successfully captured the unclassifiable emotional expression within children’s boredom and the gaze at nowhere that occurs they have nothing to do.

 

I chose the work on the left because not only its composition is done great, but also because this is a straight forward irony of what it is to be human: simply a hairless monkey when their seen from monkey.

I personally liked the one on the left due to its quality of composition that happens to carry two entire different events going on at the same place. Kubrick uses contrast of light and dark to clarify differences of character’s positions a lot in his films, and I see that feature in this piece, too.
