References/Inspiration:
My idea was basically to recreate spaces in which I made very important emotional decisions that have impacted me greatly. However, I wanted to play with a memory aspect of it, because although these crevices or spaces are very important to me – I only remember fragments of them.
I think I’ve always thought of time as an interesting tool to play with, but wasn’t ever sure how to convey that in my artwork, however I think it has helped me in a way that it allows me to play with my artworks and see them as process pieces more than a final image.
